Adult/Over 14 Induction
Our 14+ adult inductions are designed for anyone aged 14 or older who would like to use the centre without supervision. If you are 18 or over, you may choose to simply watch the bouldering induction video, or, if you are already an experienced climber, you may not need an induction at all. However, if you prefer an in-person introduction to the centre, this session is a great option.

Although the primary focus is on the safe use of the centre, there will also be an element of coaching to help set you on the right path.
Young people aged 14–17 can be signed off to climb without adult supervision. To do this, they must attend a 14+ induction and sign-off session. This session ensures they understand the risks involved in bouldering and that they demonstrate a mature attitude towards using the centre.
A parent or legal guardian must be present during the induction (they do not need to take part in the induction). This is essential so they are fully aware of what bouldering involves and the potential dangers. There are also additional forms that must be completed after the induction, which can only be signed by the parent or legal guardian.
